I have been in construction related industries for 30 years and have spent the last 10 plus years in the Metal Roof business working for 2 different manufacturer’s before launching MRE – METAL ROOF ESTIMATING in late 2014, when my last employer decided to exiting the metal roof manufacturing portion of the business.
I have pretty much seen and done everything that has to do with metal roofing, including the following
- gone to the jobsites to measure the roofs
- provided sales quotes for roofing product to contractors
- provided trouble shooting analysis
- dealt with warranty issues
- maintained product inventory
- purchased steel product (Coils, Flats, Extrusions, etc)
- up kept Florida Product Approvals and Miami-Dade N.O.A’s
- served as liason with plant certification agencies and inspections
- maintained required Quality Assurance Manuals
- co-ordinated production schedule
- ran the panel roll forming line
- built 40′ wooden crates for panels
- scheduled deliveries
- loaded the delivery trucks
